So it’s February and spring is on its way! I’m not a fan of
winter. I’ve been struggling to do outfit photos lately as the weathers either
been really cold or it’s raining and I always take my photos outside where the
lighting is better.
I have a very exciting post coming up on Wednesday (hopefully
the weather will be better!) called ‘how to wear disco pants’ I’ll be featuring
different ways you could wear disco pants, day and evening outfit ideas.
So as I wasn’t able to get it up on my blog this weekend, I am
featuring a few photos I’ve taken with my new camera. I got the Canon 600d for
Christmas which was an upgrade from my 300d.
I absolutely love it and I’ve been
snapping away experimenting with different things. Most of my photos are taken
with the Canon 50mm 1.8 lens, this lens is amazing and it’s very cheap!

lovely photos!! I've just got a 50mm lens too, and I love it. I really want to get a 1.4 35mm one next, as my only (very slight) complaint, is that the photos are all so zoomed in- I need to be stood a good couple of metres back to get a full person in. I am so used to shooting with a wide 18mm that it has taken some getting used to! The deph of field with the 1.4 though is so beautiful!xx

I got this camera just before christmas. The 50mm lens is amazing. I am after a macro lens though, but just can't justify the cost at the moment! Lovely photos though I enjoyed this post!

Great photos! I use my Iphone to take photos, its not amazing quality but its far better than my old camera.

ReplyDeleteI have the Canon 450d and I love it.
I borrowed the 50mm 1.8 from someone but I'm not quite sure that it was working properly, something wasn't right when I was taking the photos. I had it on 1.8 and the photos were coming out really dark. I then switched to my standard 18-55 on 3.5 and the light was perfect!
I'm on the hunt for a new lens at the moment but I have no idea what to get. xx
